Livesay & Myers, P.C., a leading family law firm with a strong presence across Northern Virginia, is seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Attorney to join our team in Manassas, VA. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, visitation, support, and equitable distribution.
• Draft pleadings, negotiate settlement agreements, and prepare other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Provide clear, compassionate legal counsel to clients navigating complex family law issues.
• Work closely with our team of experienced attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to deliver strategic, results-driven representation.
• Prioritize and work at a fast pace with your clientele while maintaining great attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Applicant must have either their Virginia Bar license (and be in good standing with the Virginia State Bar) or have recently taken the Virginia Bar.
• Proven litigation skills are a plus.
• At least 1–3 years of experience practicing family law preferred (but not required).
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple active cases.
• A respectful and compassionate approach to guiding clients through emotionally difficult family law matters.
