Christina Aguirre
Christina Aguirre is a senior associate attorney at Livesay & Myers, P.C., practicing exclusively family law.
Her practice covers every type of family law matter in Virginia, including separation, divorce, custody, visitation and support cases. Ms. Aguirre works in the firm’s Fairfax office, and represents clients in Fairfax, Prince William and across Northern Virginia.
Ms. Aguirre has focused her practice on family law litigation for over a decade, most recently as a Partner at Van Hooser & Aguirre, P.C. where she served clients throughout Northern Virginia.
Ms. Aguirre earned her B.A. from Northern Arizona University, graduating cum laude. She earned her J.D. and Family Law Certificate from Howard University School of Law, also graduating cum laude and in the top 5% of her class. While at Howard, Ms. Aguirre served as a Senior Staff Editor on the Howard Law Journal.
During law school, Ms. Aguirre worked as a Law Clerk for the Law Offices of Betty A. Thompson, LTD, a family law firm, and served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Judge Jeanette J. Clark of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She also volunteered at the Pro Bono Divorce Clinic in D.C. and assisted in the Family Court Self-Help Center.
Ms. Aguirre was named a Super Lawyer in 2025, after being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star each year from 2018–2023. She currently holds a perfect 10.0 rating from Justia.
