Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch recognizes attorneys who are earlier in their careers for professional excellence in private practice.

They are evaluated by their peers on the basis of professional expertise, and undergo an authentication process to make sure they are in current practice and in good standing.
For the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, Best Lawyers analyzed more than 12.2 million evaluations, resulting in the recognition of only 5.3% of lawyers in the United States.
For the 2023 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, Best Lawyers analyzed more than 1.6 million evaluations, resulting in less than 20,000 lawyers being selected by their peers to be included and commended for their outstanding legal talent.
