Carolyn A. Eaton
Carolyn Eaton is a family law and estate planning attorney at Livesay & Myers, P.C. She is experienced in handling every type of family law matter in Virginia, including separation, divorce, custody and support cases. In her estate planning practice, Ms. Eaton drafts wills, trusts, advance medical directives, living wills, and powers of attorney. Ms. Eaton works in the firm’s Manassas office, and represents clients in Manassas, Prince William County and all across Northern Virginia.
Ms. Eaton has over twenty years of legal experience. She graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1994, and began her legal career a year later when she helped establish the family law practice of a boutique law firm in Texas. After moving to Virginia in 1997, Ms. Eaton worked first as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in the Hampton Roads area, before moving to Richmond to work as an attorney for the Division of Child Support Enforcement.
Ms. Eaton served as legal counsel to DCSE from 1999–2006. In that position, she litigated child support cases in eight jurisdictions across Virginia. Ms. Eaton also served on the legislative committee responsible for reviewing and tracking new bills related to child support and Temporary Aid to Needy Families during General Assembly sessions.
Carolyn Eaton resides in Northern Virginia, and works out of the firm’s office in Manassas.
